Freight Solutions: What Shippers Actually Need from a Broker
Freight solutions are not slogans. They are FTL, LTL, border handoffs, and tracking that matches how your dock works.

Search “freight solutions” and you will find glossy pages that promise everything and name nothing. Real freight solutions are narrower: the right equipment, a clear tender, a carrier that can run the lane, and a desk that answers when the appointment slips.
COL Freight Solutions LLC is a licensed U.S. property broker (USDOT 4427559, MC-1741651). We arrange full truckload, LTL, and warehousing across the United States, Mexico, and Canada. We do not invent an airline or an ocean line to win a click. For a shipment-specific plan, call 561-880-9808 or email shipping@colfreightsolutions.com.
What “freight solutions” should mean on a quote
A usable freight solution starts with mode. Full truckload buys exclusive trailer space. LTL shares a network and prices by weight, class, and cube. Specialized equipment—flatbed, reefer, step deck—exists because the commodity will not fit a dry van fantasy.
Freight logistics solutions that ignore facility rules are theater. Liftgate, limited access, appointment windows, and border dwell change the product. If the quote assumes a forklift dock and your site is a storefront, you did not buy a solution—you bought a dispute.
Freight logistics solutions across North America
Domestic U.S. highway freight is one product. USA–Mexico and USA–Canada lanes are another: handoffs, documentation time, and bilingual coordination sit on top of the miles. COL’s freight logistics solutions keep those layers named instead of buried in a “all-in” number that collapses at the bridge.
Warehousing coordination sits beside linehaul when a plant is not ready or a container needs to restuff. That is still arrangement, not a claim that COL owns every yard on the map.
How to request freight solutions that can be executed
Send origin and destination (ZIP or city/state/country), pieces, weight, dimensions, commodity, ready date, and any accessorial flags. If the freight crosses a border, name the preferred POE or Mexican park when you know it.
- Mode preference: FTL, LTL, or “advise which is cheaper for this cube.”
- Equipment: dry van, flatbed, reefer, or specialized.
- Tracking expectation: milestone updates versus live GPS theater.
Why COL Freight Solutions instead of a rate portal
Portals spit tariffs. A broker desk prices the shipment you will actually tender, then stays on the file when a terminal delays a connection or a border appointment moves. Recurring volume can be reviewed for the Transportation Cost Recovery Program™ after we see a real pattern—not after one rescue load.
Offices in Saint Petersburg, FL and Los Gatos, CA. Phone 561-880-9808. Licensed broker, not a fleet we pretend to own.
